I've taken two of my lower wisdom teeth yesterday. As of present, it's still bleeding through the sutures (I've tried biting on tea bags in hopes that the tannic acid may help in clotting but didn't really help that much).

Since I'm not in the mood of studying (or doing anything strenuous for that matter due to the headaches and the constant bleeding), I thought I'd write something down here.

What should I write about? Let's write about the operation (lest I forget about the experience)!

The nitrous oxide really caught me off-guard. Seriously, at first I didn't feel anything, then I was stupid enough to take heavy breaths through my nose. Before I knew it, I felt really lethargic (I couldn't move my legs or arms) and voices around me felt squeeky (like helium) and funny. After around 5 minutes, I actually started to laugh briefly (maybe it was also due to MJ's death, who knows), but I felt the gas sort of tickling me in the diaphragm.

After this, the operation actually started. I also noticed 4 additional effects from the laughing gas

1st: Tingling sensation in your arms and legs
2nd: Lack of clarity in cognitive thinking.
3rd: Even with the lack of high level of cognitive thinking, I was still able to understand the doctor's orders and follow them.
4th: Feeling of nausea = wanting to hurl.

I'm pretty sure these effects are the mildest of the laughig gas since there have been reports of people suffering from memory loss or even falling asleep from using it.

What about the pain? While I felt lethargic, I could still feel the pain so they injected some general anesthesia (the freezer) which made my jaw numb or practically frozen for over 5 hours. Even with the freezer, I actually still felt some amount of pain, but good thing the laughing gas made me "not care" about too much.
